Ok, is nobody going to say it? Karma is a wonderful thing because Shakira has been on fire ever since she dropped the dead weight. And, most recently, she performed at the World Cup while a certain cheating ex had to attend for the kids and watch her in all her glory!

I always liked her since I was a child, never really followed celebrities and still don’t care for them even if I met quite a few in person now that I am adult.

But the very fact that I know who is the woman you are talking about, is a sign of what an impression (possibly a crush) she had on the child me.

I even know a few songs of her, but next to zero about her life.

I wish well if she was suffering from infidelity and a good recover, but I hope she won’t be signing many songs about cheating as "la tortura" (where she was the OW)

Yeah, her WH was awful. He hosted the AP in their home while Shakira was out of town with the kids. She caught on because the AP ate her favorite jam and wore her clothes. Apparently the MIL helped hide the affair, too.

Like Beyonce, she channeled her rage into her art and cut a successful album. Here's the English translation of one diss track:

I knows there’s more to infidelity obviously, but man, you’d have to be a special kind of stupid to cheat on her.

BackfromtheStorm, Wow, I totally didn't get que La Tortura es de La Sancha. I'll have to go back and listen again. I thought she was the one cheated on and was describing dumping him because he kept cheating. I'll play it again.

BSR, yes. All of it and more. He was so dirty. I loved that she made a fortune off of her cheater songs.

WB1340, I don't think anyone is arguing with you. But my point was the karma her POS cheater is now getting. He looks old AF, so he's obviously not taking care of himself. He also does not look happy at all in any of his pictures now. And, best of all, she is on fire these days. She made tons and tons of money on all of her music since she dumped him. She has several songs that are now internationally known discussing his infidelity. Got to love the karma.

OhItsYou, Right! I mean, imagine the WHOLE world witnessing you fumble someone as amazing as Shakira!
